When specific material type and shape combinations are defined here, they will override the default price per pound from material types during price updates.

How Price Per Pound Works

When updating material pricing based on price per pound:

  1. The system first checks for a specific price per pound entry for the material's type and shape.
  2. If a specific price is found, it uses that value for calculations.
  3. If no specific price is found, it falls back to the general price per pound from the material type.

This allows you to set different pricing for the same material type when used in different shapes, reflecting real-world cost differences.
